Parenting Partnership is a Lapeer County Michigan business established in 2005 by Gloria Sherman and Sharon Whitson. Two friends with a common vision of child and family advocacy, our mission is to provide quality parenting education to enhance family functioning. Featuring their education and presentation skills on topics relating to parenting, Parenting Partnership offers classes starting every six weeks and schedules appearances at events upon request.
Gloria Sherman M.A., M.Ed., LPC, is a middle school counselor with over thirty years experience working with parents and children. Her passion is to provide parents with tools to help them be successful in their most important job of raising respectful and responsible children. She is a parent and grandparent. She utilizes these skills to help her seven grandchildren become responsible and fun to be around.
Sharon Whitson RSST, the Developer and Program Manager of the Family Focus Mentor Program, shows people how to assess needs and creatively apply practical knowledge for problem solving. She demonstrates to parents how to be successful in parenting on a daily basis. With over twenty-five years experience working with parents and children in the field of social work, she is devoted to strengthening families. Her own children are both college graduates.
